A Note from CADY FolkART and Website Design:
The Gasconade County countryside is reminescent of Germany. Much of the architecture is Old World. Well-established and new vineyards remind me of Germany's vineyards planted on precipitous hillsides. The lush surrounding woodlands parallel the beauty of the Black Forest. The Missouri River, ever-flowing, invites the early morning fogs that I love!
Hermann Life is "life as it should be"!
Having lived in Kansas City, MO, I cherish the serenity of a small town filled with "dear hearts and gentle people." In Hermann, I do not miss the frenetic pace of big city life or the contrived tourist attractions of some locations. Here, I find PEACE! Chris CADY!
